Maitri Retreats

These Terms apply to all retreats, group programmes, and residential or in-person experiences offered by Leini Ireland / Maitri.

1. Nature of Retreat Services

Retreats may include yoga, movement practices, personal development sessions, group discussions, and reflective activities. These services are not therapeutic and do not replace medical, psychological, or professional care.

2. Age Requirement

Retreats are intended for participants aged 18 years and over unless otherwise stated.

3. Participation & Responsibility

Participation is voluntary and you are responsible for your own physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing. You acknowledge that outcomes vary and no guarantees are made regarding personal results or transformation.

4. Bookings, Payments & Refunds

Retreat fees, payment schedules, and inclusions are outlined at the time of booking. Payments are processed via Stripe. Unless otherwise stated, retreat payments are non-refundable.

If a retreat is cancelled by Leini Ireland / Maitri, refunds or transfers will be handled in accordance with the specific retreat terms provided at booking.

5. Cancellations & Transfers

Cancellation and transfer terms vary by retreat and are communicated at the time of booking. Unless explicitly stated, participant-initiated cancellations are non-refundable.

6. Confidentiality

Participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants and any personal information shared during retreat sessions.

7. Intellectual Property

All retreat content, materials, recordings, and resources remain the property of Leini Ireland / Maitri and may not be copied, shared, or distributed.

8. Limited Liability

Liability for any claim arising from retreat participation is limited to the total retreat fees paid. Leini Ireland / Maitri are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including personal, financial, or business impacts.

This limitation does not apply to claims arising from breaches of confidentiality, intellectual property, or non-disparagement obligations.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute must first be resolved by mediation in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China. If unresolved within three (3) months, the dispute will be resolved by arbitration in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China. Participation in mediation or arbitration is required before pursuing other remedies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Private Sessions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all private coaching sessions and individual services provided by Leini Ireland (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By booking or participating in a private session, you agree to the following Terms.

1. Nature of Retreat Services

Leini Ireland provides personal development and life coaching services. These services may include structured conversations, reflective exercises, assignments, and guidance to support personal or professional development.

Leini Ireland is not a licensed therapist, counsellor, psychologist, or medical professional. Coaching services are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional advice.

2. Age Requirement

Private sessions are intended for adults aged 18 years and over. By booking a session, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Client Responsibility

Coaching is a subjective process and outcomes may vary. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and results arising from the sessions. No guarantees are made regarding outcomes or success.

4. Scheduling & Session Use

Session times are arranged via booking links or mutual agreement. Sessions must be used within six (6) months of purchase unless otherwise agreed. Unused sessions after this period are forfeited and are not refundable.

5. Cancellations, Late Arrival & No-Shows

A minimum of 24 hours’ written notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are forfeited and will not be rescheduled or refunded.

If you do not attend within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be treated as a no-show and forfeited.

If Leini Ireland cancels a session without sufficient notice, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

6. Fees, Payment & Late Payment

Fees are confirmed at the time of booking and payments are processed via Stripe. All sessions must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.

If payment is more than three (3) days late, a one-off late fee of USD$100 will apply and sessions may be suspended until payment is received in full.

7. Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable except where services are terminated by Leini Ireland and prepaid sessions have not yet been delivered. In such cases, unused prepaid sessions will be refunded.

8. Confidentiality

All information shared during sessions is treated as confidential. Confidential information may only be disclosed where required by law, where authorised in writing, or where the information is already publicly available without breach.

Confidentiality obligations continue after services have concluded.

9. Intellectual Property

All session materials, written content, recordings, and resources remain the exclusive property of Leini Ireland. Materials are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, shared, sold, or distributed.

10. Non-Disparagement

You agree not to make statements or take actions that could reasonably be expected to harm the reputation, services, or business of Leini Ireland.

11. Limited Liability

Any liability arising from the provision of services is limited to the total fees paid by you. Leini Ireland is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of income, business interruption, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such loss.

This limitation does not apply to claims arising from breaches of confidentiality, intellectual property, or non-disparagement obligations.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute must first be resolved by mediation conducted in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China, either in person or via an agreed online mediation service.

If the dispute is not resolved within three (3) months of referral to mediation, it will be resolved by arbitration in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China. Good-faith participation in mediation or arbitration is a condition precedent to pursuing other legal remedies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any proceedings shall be conducted in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China.
